Job Description

Job Summary
The Performing and Fine Arts ( PFA ) Department of the College of Arts and Sciences is looking for a Student Assistant to support the PFA Academic Coordinator and general day-to-day assistance for the PFA Department. We are seeking a motivated individual who can self-start follow through on assigned tasks and has a high degree of comfort interacting with others. The Office Assistant is expected to identify initiate and complete a variety of tasks and projects in a role that primarily serves the PFA Department and the Academic Coordinator. Shifts for this position are 3 hours long Monday-Friday and have a degree of flexibility.

Minimum Qualifications
Self-motivated flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Ability to maintain confidentiality. High-level organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks. Collaborative approach to work. Proactive communicator. Basic computer skills (Some familiarity with: Microsoft Office Adobe Acrobat Canva Google Excel).

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with UP technology and systems. Prior clerical work experience. Performing and Fine Arts majors/minors preferred.
