As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorganChase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls (CTC) organization youare an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. Job responsibilities
- Guides the evaluation of current cybersecurity principals processes and controls and leads the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworks.
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors .
- Creating and propagating (developing ) security design patterns to support building consistent and secure technology solutions.
- Conduct security assessments threat modeling and vulnerability assessments of products and features to identify and prioritize security risks.
- Work with architects and developers to design and implement secure code practices conduct code reviews and ensure security is embedded in the design.
- Knowledge of emerging security threats vulnerabilities and trends relevant to our products.
- Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.
- Adds to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Technical Knowledge in any domain such as network operating systems web applications cloud Databricks etc.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a product security role with a track record of driving security initiatives.
- Good knowledge of secure software development practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top Ten).
- Experience with threat modeling risk assessment and vulnerability management.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. public cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Cloud Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architecture Associate/Professional AWS Security Specialty.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and industry regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Security certifications such as CISSP CISM or relevant certifications are a plus.
