Job Description
Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michiganis looking to fill a Full Time
IT Support Technician positionat our administration building in Burton.
We are located at2188 S. Center Rd BurtonMichigan.
$50000 annual salary
plus20% discounton in-store purchases.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and training to all users across offices stores and the plant for hardware software applications network connections and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair issues related to hardware software peripherals printers and other IT equipment including performing routine maintenance and software updates.
- Assist in minimizing risk to the organizations IT infrastructure from counterfeit malicious or unlicensed software code by installing updating and maintain cyber security software and firewall rules.
- Provide friendly solution-based support to all users and record issue resolutions through help desk support software.

Job Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
- A or similar entry-level IT certification (Comp TIA A Google IT Support)
- 1-2 years of experience in a help desk desktop support or general IT role.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (computers monitors etc.) up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to kneel and bend down including prone on the ground to access equipment.
- Valid Michigan Drivers license and ability to drive.
