We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Applied Scientist to join our team. As part of the larger technology team working on new consumer technology your work will have a large impact to Amazon consumer product design and features delighting millions of customers.
Key job responsibilities
In the role you will:
- Work with AI scientists and SW developers to bring new and innovative audio and multimodal AI features to delight customers
- Propose new research projects get buy-in from stakeholders plan and budget the project and lead the team for successful execution
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary product development team including outside partners to bring the prototype algorithm and model into commercialization
- Lead the team on state-of-the-art deep learning technology development
- 5 years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD or Masters degree and 6 years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java C Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- 6 years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience
- Experience with conducting research in a corporate setting and delivering to product
- Well versed in the latest deep learning architecture and training techniques for audio and multimodal foundation model development
