Job Summary:
We are the platform architecture team responsible for architectural solutions for large scale systems.

Responsibilities:

• Creating comprehensive architectural designs that align with business requirements and technical standards.
• Ensuring that the architectural solutions are scalable and perform efficiently under various conditions.
• Working closely with business leaders project managers and development teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Assessing and selecting appropriate technologies and tools that best fit the needs of the organization.
• Keeping detailed documentation of architectural designs decisions and changes.
• Implementing security measures and ensuring that solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Offering guidance and support to development teams ensuring best practices are followed.
• Continuously evaluating and improving architectural processes and solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Application Design Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design
• Platform Architecture: Knowledge of technologies and methods to design processing mechanisms and roadmaps to execute business application systems; ability to design these roadmaps and deploy supportive interfaces for end-users to access related systems in accordance with standards and processes.
• Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools methods and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

Consideration for top candidates:

• Expertise programing systems in Java and/or Python
• Expertise is building enterprise systems with sound architecture principles
• Ability to assess select and introduce new technologiesbased on business needs. Proof of concept and prototyping skills.
• Cloud architectures:AWS stack containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
• Database knowledge:SQL & NoSQL data modeling replication sharding.
• DevOps:CI/CD infrastructure as code monitoring automated testing.
• API design(REST GraphQL gRPC) versioning and documentation.
• Understanding of AI development LLM training and fine tuning ML development (Nice to have)

Additional Details:

This position has the option to be based out of either our Chicago IL or Peoria IL offices

Summary Pay Range:
