Job Description

What youll be doing:

Were looking for a proactive and ambitious IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on onsite support for a key client based in Oxford while also working as part of our remote Service Desk one day per week. If you love solving technical challenges thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to grow with an innovative IT company this is the role for you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the onsite extension of our Service Desk team providing 1st & 2nd line support
  • Deliver onsite IT support ensuring exemplary service at all times
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues manage machine builds and handle user queries
  • Maintain and monitor systems identifying performance issues proactively
  • Resolve incidents within strict SLAs and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Manage your own ticket queue and contribute to team KPIs

We want to hear from you if you:

  • Can demonstrate experience in a similar on site IT Support Engineer role
  • Have a strong background in ITIL-based Service Desk environments
  • Have expertise with Windows (7/8/10) Office 365 Microsoft Intune and AD/Group Policy
  • Have solid knowledge of hardware/software troubleshooting networking and antivirus tools
  • Experience with remote monitoring Windows Server () and backup solutions
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and client service skills
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
