TL;DR
Were hiring a Senior Developer Advocateto grow the Haystack community and bring deepsets LLM products to more developers and organizations. Youll lead DevRel strategy across content events and community programs by creating resources that educate engage and drive adoption. The Haystack community is growing fast and youll help shape it by connecting with developers sharing knowledge and making AI more accessible through open source and commercial tools.

What you will do
- Grow Haystack adoption and strengthen the community-to-customer journey
- Drive strategy and execution for key events conferences and meetups across the US & Europe
- Lead technical content across docs tutorials blog website and social media
- Build and mentor a team of technical writers to scale educational output
- Launch new community programs mentorships user groups and open calls
- Develop content across formats (video social user-generated) to drive digital engagement
- Turn developer and market feedback into actionable input for the product roadmap
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering marketing and sales to align on goals
Requirements
- 5 years as a Developer Advocate or Software Engineer with hands-on experience writing maintaining and supporting Python code
- Proven success managing the community-to-customer lifecycle across open-source and commercial products
- Skilled in creating technical content (talks blogs videos) and presenting at developer events
- Experience leading and engaging online communities across platforms like Twitter Discord Stack Overflow Reddit and YouTube
- Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to connect goals to outcomes through programs and tactics
- Comfortable turning developer and market insights into product feedback and roadmap input
- Active contributor to open-source communities with a passion for collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Familiarity with LLMs and NLP or motivation to learn quickly
- Willing to travel for meetups conferences and community events
Nice to have
- Background in LLMs NLP or developer tooling
- Open-source experience is a plus
- Familiarity with technical SEO or content performance metrics
- Strong personal presence on developer platforms (e.g. GitHub Twitter Stack Overflow)
