Salary: OTE 60000 per annum

On behalf of our client a respected multi-disciplinary property consultancy we are seeking a qualified Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their expanding Professional Services team based in Taunton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the regions most established firms during a period of sustained growth with real prospects for progression and development.

The role offers flexible working across offices in Somerset and Devon with the option for some home working. This is a demanding and rewarding position suitable for a professional with at least 3 years post-qualification experience who thrives in a busy and varied environment.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Preparing detailed specifications for construction and repair works
• Contract administration and end-to-end project management
• Producing comprehensive building condition reports
• Conducting defect diagnosis and advising clients on solutions
• Creating costed Schedules of Works
• Preparing dilapidation schedules and schedules of condition
• Managing party wall matters and preparing party wall awards
• Supporting business development and client engagement initiatives

What Were Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor with minimum 3 years PQE
• Proven track record in professional surveying and project-based work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Confident working both independently and within a team
• Client-facing with strong interpersonal skills
• A full UK driving licence and access to own car
• Experience in the South West property market (desirable)
