SERVPRO Team Shaw is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction/Mitigation Laborer to join our team. As a laborer you will play a key role in our mission to help communities recover from disasters by assisting with the cleanup restoration and rebuilding of properties affected by water fire storm or mold damage. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in peoples lives while building a rewarding career in a supportive team-focused environment.
- Assist with water fire and mold mitigation projects including cleanup demolition and restoration tasks
- Support construction team members with framing drywall painting and other general labor tasks during the rebuild phase
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris organizing materials and following all safety protocols
- Load and unload materials tools and equipment as needed
- Work alongside crew leaders project managers and other team members to meet project timelines and ensure client satisfaction
- Previous experience in construction demolition or restoration preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail work ethic and commitment to safety
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and overtime as needed
