Job Description
Woodstocks oldest preschool is seeking a dynamic new Lead Teacher. The Lead Teacher will head up our incredible nature-based outdoor play-focused preschool program as we begin our 75th year in operation. The Lead Teacher is responsible for leading the school and other staff developing an engaging curriculum assessment of students learning creating a stimulating holistic classroom environment all enrollment processes and all communication with families. QualificationsMust possess and maintain valid Vermont Teaching Certification for early childhood education and all appropriate Vermont State Licensing. Proven experience in early childhood education and classroom management. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly understanding of Vermont Early Learning Standards and Child Care Licensing :Excellent leadership organizational and communication to manage multiple priorities in student assessment interpersonal skills for positive family and staff in basic computer skills and management of digital : Strong interest in nature-based learning dedicated nurturing adaptable proactive and committed to the mission and success of Lead Teacher reports directly to the WNS Board.
