Job Description
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Ensure the strict adherence to the budget and schedule for multiple projects
Ensure the accuracy of the drawings and BOMs associated with various projects
Oversee the creation of PE / permit drawing packages to submit to local jurisdictions for permitting
Train / on-board new engineers and co-ops
Participate in design reviews for projects across the department and provide guidance on best application practices
Lead a customer program by supporting junior engineers on small projects
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Extensive knowledge with MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook)
Experienced knowledge of drafting software (AutoCAD) and ERP Systems (Netsuite preferred)
Highly organized with a focus on schedule milestones and motivated to train fellow employees
Education & Experience:
10 years of related experience preferably 5-7 years in the material handling industry including 2-3 years working on parcel projects.
Work Environment:
Physical Requirements:
Required to stand walk and sit; talk and hear both in person and by telephone; use hands and fingers reach with hands and arms for the use of tools to assemble heavy equipment. Regularly required to stoop kneel bend crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. Travel less than 10%
