About the Position:
We are seeking a compassionate reliable and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide high-quality in-home care to clients in the Merrimack Valley area. As a valued member of our care team youll support individuals with daily living activities personal care companionship and maintaining their independence at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene (bathing dressing grooming)
- Support mobility transfers and light exercise
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Offer companionship and monitor general well-being
- Assist with medication reminders
- Document daily activities and report changes in condition
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
- Current Massachusetts HHA Certification required
- Minimum 6 months of home care or facility-based experience preferred
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass a background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills empathy and a positive attitude
