Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Process Optimization AI Specialist Boca Raton FL.
The Process Optimization AI Specialist is pivotal in enhancing the utilization of Florida Atlantics cloud-based low-code AI solutions. This position contributes to developing requirements for the Universitys in-house developer-driven AI projects. This role will focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance educational outcomes streamline administrative processes and foster a culture of innovation. This role will collaborate with academic and administrative users to drive digital transformation and ensure the university remains at the forefront of technological advancements in higher education.
Summary of Responsibilities includes:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements using our AI platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for in-house AI projects ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Design and create high-quality prompts for AI models ensuring they are clear concise and aligned with the desired output.
- Configure AI models to automate and enhance business processes.
- Continuously monitor the performance of AI models and solutions adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and process optimization technologies.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve our AI capabilities continuously.
- Create and maintain documentation of AI models processes and project requirements.
- Analyze the needs of the user to create or recommend appropriate solutions.
- Train team members and stakeholders on the use of AI solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Flexibility to balance competing initiatives multi-task between projects and applications and adapt to changing business operations.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and low-code AI solutions.
Knowledge of data processing and ETL (Extract Transform Load) tools.
Experience with AI programming languages such as Python R or Java.
Salary:
$65000 - $85000 per year.
