What is the opportunity
RBC Dominion Securities is currently seeking a Business Development Lead to join a large portfolio management team. You will lead marketing and business development activities and will be heavily involved with marketing campaigns websites printed collateral and client events.
What will you do
- Work closely with RBC Wealth Management Marketing partners to design/build/manage the teams website including maintenance and posting new content for clients.
- Execute the creation of marketing materials using content creation management and publishing tools while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Oversee key metrics for tracking efficacy and impact of various marketing initiatives and of website activity.
- Observe social economic and political trends that could affect the organization and generate knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the teams image based on those trends.
- Lead client events with the portfolio manager and any sponsors including event logistics invitations follow up with invitees execution of event and follow up.
- Use innovative and creative ideas to execute business development activities for the team.
- Create new content for social media accounts for the portfolio management team using approved platforms and ensuring strict adherence to RBC brand standards and social media rules.
What do you need to succeed
Must-have
- Bachelors degree in communications journalism public relations or other related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications strategy development
- Expertise in content creation management and publishing tools
- Bilingualism (English and French) required as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs
- Experience in wealth management industry an asset
