What is this role
As an Assembly Production Manager at Cirkul you will be responsible for increasing production capacity while obtaining safety quality and cost KPIs for the Assembly department. You will also be responsible for leading coaching developing and training the members of the Assembly department to increase organizational capacity to meet Cirkuls business needs.
What does an average day look like
- Driving Results: Build maintain and improve production systems processes.
- Taking Ownership: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating blending technicians.
- Making Decisions: Identify gaps in production and implement new systems to maximize production Set department and team goals (Daily Monthly and yearly) in collaboration with leadership.
- Cultivating Relationships: Collaborate with maintenance engineering and other production departments in order to drive output
- Instilling Trust:. Ensure that safety and quality standards are met Lead and develop team members. Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of blends.
- Customer Focus: Maximize production throughput in department Develop and maintain cell layout to drive production efficiency.
What background should you have
- Relevant 4 Year Degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
- 5-10 years of manufacturing experience
- 2-5 years of high-speed assembly or packaging experience required
2-5 years of manufacturing leadership or other relevant leadership experience - Experience with manufacturing systems including continuous improvement autonomous maintenance preventative maintenance process control 5S and Kaizen is preferred
- Willing to work hard stay until the job is complete and demonstrate resilience
- Have a positive attitude willing to work with multiple levels of employees and thrive in a fast paced environment
