Interim Financial Accountant (3-4 months)

Our client in the Stafford area has closed their year-end on 30th June and would love some support from a Qualified Financial Accountant for a period of 3-4 months. The role could be 4 or 5 days per week ideally on site due to the need to use specific software but dial-in options can be arranged to allow for hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting notes for multiple entities (21 VAT registered companies) in accordance with FRS 102
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Use Accounts Production and Corporation Tax software modules to compile and review financial statements and tax computations
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors via Inflo to support the year-end process
Assist with ad hoc financial reporting reconciliations and analysis as required
Essential Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA ACCA or equivalent)
Proven experience in preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Able to use Accounts Production and Corporation Tax software modules
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable Attributes
Familiarity with audit processes and requirements
Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes

Whats on offer
3-4 month short term contract starting sometime in August
4 or 5 days per week working options
Staff meals included in the office.
Ideally office based due to the server location of on premises software packages but can
accommodate some flexible working as needed.
