Job Summary
The PFA Box Office Manager will manage the UP Theaters box office under the supervision of Emily Hogan and Mindi Logan; an average of 10-15 hours a week with a non-negotiable specific schedule for each of the productions this season. The Manager will manage the online ticketing system On the Stage (OtS); assist with the management of the front of house staff (led by Mindi Logan) and train them on the use of the day-of functions in OtS; and manage the email address in collaboration with Emily Hogan. Attendance at all Theater performances is mandatory. Box Office shifts on show weeks are Wednesday-Saturday 6:30-8:00pm Sundays 1:00-2:30pm. Minimum Qualifications
Ability to attend all UP theatrical productions listed in the Job Summary. Reliable attendance and follow-through of tasks. Ability to learn understand and troubleshoot computer software. Good writing and communication skills. Ability to communicate with patrons in a professional manner. Ability to work independently and take initiative as well as collaborate with faculty and students. Theatrical background and/or understanding of the process of building theatrical productions. Required: access to a smartphone/laptop (can be reserved through Clark Library)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a ticket sales a plus theatrical ticket sales extra plus. Interest in staying for multiple years.
