Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a part-time Federal Work-Study student to serve as an Office Assistant to the Director of Administrative Services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities will include assisting with data entry spreadsheet management document preparation scheduling and maintaining shared files in SharePoint and Teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with data entry tracking and analysis using Excel spreadsheets

Maintain organized digital files and folders in SharePoint and Teams

Prepare and format Word documents memos and reports as requested

Support calendar management and meeting coordination

Assist with monitoring and updating procurement and budget records

Help track supply inventories and vendor communications

Create and maintain logs of key administrative activities

Respond to routine emails and inquiries in a professional manner

Perform general clerical tasks such as scanning copying and filing

Support special projects as assigned by the Director of Administrative Services

FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT

YES -- Federal Work Study eligibility required (check your 2025/26 Financial Aid Award Offer)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a current student with a Federal Work-Study award

Preferred majors: Economics Finance Accounting Business Math or Computer Science

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word Teams and SharePoint required

Strong organizational skills and professional communication
