Job Description
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is seeking a creative Baker to join our dynamic team! As a Baker you will be a key contributor to our culinary team creating a wide range of delicious baked goods. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys the artistic side of baking including decorating cakes crafting pastries and designing intricate showpieces. You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of all products all while maintaining a clean safe and positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute scratch-baking of various breads cakes and other baked goods according to established recipes and portion standards.
- Artistically plate and present finished products for a variety of dining and event venues.
- Showcase creativity by decorating cakes pastries and other confections.
- Construct elaborate decorative showpieces using ingredients such as chocolate and sugar.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment and workspaces.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all food items.
- Uphold our core values by fostering a fun friendly quick comfortable clean and safe atmosphere (The Big Six).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional baking experience or a related combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain a food handlers card.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
