Job Description
In this position you will be responsible for implementing features built in to the operating system that power in-car features such as CarPlay. This includes the design and implementation itself in both system apps and supporting frameworks. Youll work closely with our design team crafting the user experiences our users depend on on a daily basis. Youll also deep dive into our code base optimizing the size and performance of applications and frameworks and drive the quality high by fixing bugs. You will interact with the brightest minds in the industry and tackle some of the most demanding problems.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent job-related experience.
- 3 years of object-oriented programming experience in Objective-C or Swift
- UI programming experience in UIKit or SwiftUI
- Creativity and passion for design
- Comfortable with a large code base dynamic working environments and tight schedules
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Experience developing multi-threaded and/or multi-process systems using IPC is beneficial
- Experience developing software with any of the following frameworks is a plus: CarPlay CoreLocation CoreMedia MediaPlayer
