Job Description
You will design and develop features for image sensor peripheral devices and latest image processing pipeline on Apple products. Device driver functionality will include controlling camera peripherals such as image sensors voice-coil motors (VCMs) lens actuators LED strobes and power management units (PMUs). You will also have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with Sensor Hardware Silicon Design Machine Learning Algorithm teams to shape the roadmap for future Apple is a highly multi-functional product development role and you will work closely with various teams like Silicon Design EE and System/Controls team.
- BS and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in programming debugging and designing within multi-threaded RTOS environments.
- Proficiency in C and C programming.
- Experience developing software for device drivers including but not limited to image sensors I2C SPI GPIOs MIPI and DMA controllers.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on efficient and reliable solutions.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality production-level software.
- Familiarity with image sensors image processing techniques and camera pipelines.
- Knowledge of auto-focus systems and optical image stabilization technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to adapt and excel in a fast paced environment.
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147400 and $272100 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
