You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Wisconsin-Madison Badger Precollege Director will provide senior leadership for the Badger Precollege Programming unit within the Division of Continuing Studies. This position reports to the Associate Dean in the Division of Continuing Studies. The Badger Precollege program portfolio includes 19 program sessions with over 2000 domestic and international minors enrolled each year. Precollege Programs across UW-Madison encompasses more than 175 programs and impacts more than 45000 learners each year. The Director works closely with the Associate Dean and with cross-campus stakeholders in both for-credit and non-credit education to develop programs for domestic and international precollege audiences that will achieve high-impact institutional growth goals and transform youth programs at UW. The Director is responsible for leading a team of 10 support staff and executing campus-wide precollege strategic initiatives which include creating new programs and growing enrollments providing budget oversight administering scholarship programs and overseeing promotional efforts.

Minimum $ 95824 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications
- 5 years of experience working in higher education in precollege in one or more of the following aspects: program development program design student development and/or student success.
- 3 years of leadership experience including overseeing programs or offices and/or responsible for complex projects including oversight of personnel and responsibility for meeting financial metrics and program outcomes including experience working with program revenue budgets and data.
-3 years of supervisory experience required with demonstrated ability to lead manage mentor and motivate high-performing cross-functional teams that are goal-oriented and growth- and results- focused.
-3 years of experience working with infrastructure supporting precollege programming including policies practices and systems for marketing registration evaluation and transcripting etc.
- Experience working in for-credit and non-credit.
-Experience working with domestic and international precollege students.
-Experience working across multiple modalities (online programs and in-person residential and commuter programs).
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing landscape.
- Experience developing and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders academic departments administrative units content experts etc.
- Demonstrated ability to grow programs and meet revenue requirements.
- Demonstrated abilities in strategic planning and implementation.
- Knowledge of educational needs of middle and high school-age audiences.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulation related to precollege programming.
Bachelors degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
