Job Description

Position Description:

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Team in our Taylor MI. The candidate must have a bachelors degree in human resources or a related field and have zero to five years of related experience. The candidate must be self-motivated work well with others be comfortable learning and teaching new technology and have excellent writing organizational and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment.

Typical responsibilities include:

    • Manage multiple open positions and perform recruiting activities including sourcing screening scheduling interviews etc.
    • Support HR functions for the employee life cycle including onboarding employee engagement performance appraisals communication career development and offboarding
    • Maintain assigned HR related programs that may include performance appraisals various employee activities document management surveys etc.
    • Maintain Human Resources databases complete data entry and HRIS reporting
    • Support other HR projects as assigned
    • Maintain a safe working environment

Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or relatedfield

Skills/Experience:

    • Zero to five years of experience in an HR and/or recruiting environment
    • Basic knowledge of O365 (Word Excel Teams etc.)
    • Experience with HRIS software (UKG Pro) preferred
