We are looking for a Business Intelligence Expert - Data Centersfor our Jenbacher Engine business in Houston Fallbrook Drive 8860. The position is hybrid.
Role Description :
This role is responsible for capturing and analyzing markets with regard to their market potential for data center applications for the power generation business globally with a strong US focus. As a Market Research Specialist you will support processes and provide compelling market data to assess demand and derive sales opportunities. To complete the overview of global markets for the data center business it is essential to evaluate competitors positions in these segments and their strategic moves such as product improvement initiatives product launches go to market approach collaborations and mergers and acquisitions. Furthermore responsibilities include initiating and driving cross-functional projects promoting regular marketing communications and promoting the flow of information through various channels such as newsletters ad hoc information news alerts etc.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing compelling fact-based content to assess the data center market segments in existing markets assess new market opportunities while considering regulations and incentive programs and consolidating the results/impacts for Innios Jenbachers Global Gas Engines (Sales & Service) functions.
Conducting detailed analyses and research by assessing regional and local regulations for power generation facilities such as supporting legislation and emission limits.
Understanding and interpreting economic political and industry trends.
Leading as a project manager and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide an overview of current and emerging development opportunities and incorporate the views of all stakeholders.
Continuously monitoring the competitive environment visualizing strategic moves and tracking financial performance and portfolio changes.
Developing marketing communication formats (e.g. digital newsletters) for regular distribution to internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Support sales in early phase of commercialization and represent Innio at industry conferences.
Qualification Requirements :
Bachelors/Master degree in economics marketing or engineering preferred
2 years experience in communication marketing or product management
Good knowledge of the power generation market and specifically the Data Center Market
Skills that understand complex relationships of incentive schemes and impact for INNIOs Power Generation business
Advanced editorial skills with strong technical expertise to articulate complex content with value propositions to customers
Proficient user of Microsoft Word; PowerPoint Excel (especially database management pivot tables statistical/math/financial functions)
Ability to interact smoothly at all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven track in organizing assessing and prioritizing tasks
Ability to work in a cross-functional organization in geographically diverse businesses
Team player mentality and willingness to constantly improve skills
Fluent in English additional language a plus
Willingness to travel (approx. 30% of working time)
Living in Houston TX or willingness to move there
