We are a world leader in the delivery of exceptional healthcare in any setting particularly those that are remote challenging and under-resourced.

We are seeking a technically skilled and service-oriented IT Support & Systems Technician to join our Technology and Innovation and Virtual Health team in Brisbane. This role plays a critical part in ensuring staff across the organisation receive timely high-quality IT support while also maintaining hardware assets and assisting with system administration. You will be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team providing both onsite and remote support to internal users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level IT support for hardware software and system-related issues across the business
  • Deliver responsive and professional customer service to internal users both onsite and remotely
  • Log track and resolve service tickets maintaining clear and accurate documentation
  • Configure deploy and manage end-user devices including laptops and mobile phones
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and manage hardware storage and lifecycle
  • Perform basic system admin tasks including user setup password resets and access permissions
  • Assist with internal system rollouts and software deployments as directed
  • Ensure IT policies compliance requirements and security protocols are upheld

About You

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk Technician role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Microsoft 365 and basic networking
  • Confident supporting hardware and peripherals (laptops mobile phones printers docking stations)
  • Familiar with helpdesk ticketing platforms (e.g. Zendesk) and asset tracking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Experience with Active Directory MDM or collaboration tools like Teams/Zoom (desirable)
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A ITIL Foundation Microsoft) are a bonus
