Job Description

Position Title: Special Education Teacher (LBS1 Certified)

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week

Caseload: Elementary Cross-Categorical

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher with LBS1 certification to join our partner school district s team immediately. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and collaborative support.

As a Special Education Teacher you ll manage IEP development and implementation track student progress through data collection and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to both academic and social-emotional goals. You ll also integrate technology to enhance learning and partner with therapists service providers and other educators to ensure a well-rounded support system for every student.

Requirements

A Bachelors degree in Special Education is required with a Masters degree considered a plus. Candidates should have experience working with children who have a wide range of disabilities along with proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a related role. Applicants must hold or be eligible to apply for an Illinois teaching certification with a special education (LBS1) endorsement.
