A Day in the Life

Join a dynamic and rapidly evolving area within Medtronics Global Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) business where youll play a critical role in shaping the success of our clinical and commercial teams. As the Senior Field Sales Training Manager Peripheral Vascular you will lead and elevate the field training function ensuring our U.S. sales force is equipped with the tools skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the Field Sales Trainers and Clinical Field Trainers driving consistency and excellence in new hire onboarding field training execution and salesforce development. You will serve as a key partner in the development of high-performing sales professionals through field coaching performance support and ongoing education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the national team of Field Sales Trainers and Clinical Field Trainers for the Peripheral Vascular portfolio.
  • Oversee the delivery of consistent high-impact field training programs for new hires ensuring timely and effective onboarding and competency validation.
  • Own and manage the new hire field sign-off process in alignment with commercial expectations.
  • Partner with Sales and Training leadership to identify performance gaps and provide direct field coaching particularly for underperforming sales representatives.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing sales leadership and internal training teams to align field training content with strategy messaging and clinical updates.
  • Support and enhance the execution of all on-site training programs (e.g. bootcamps workshops summits).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the field training model leveraging feedback performance data and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7 years of sales experience
  • 3 years sales experience in Medtronic Peripheral Vascular
  • Prior experience as a Field Sales Trainer or in a comparable training/mentorship role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%) to support field-based training and coaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or managing a field-based team.
  • Demonstrated success in developing others and driving performance.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Deep knowledge of the Peripheral Vascular product portfolio and sales process.
  • Strong communication coaching and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and drive alignment.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$140800.00 - $211200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
