Comprehensive Diagnostic Interpretation
Interpret and report on a wide range of imaging studies including X-ray ultrasound mammography CT and MRI.
Deliver accurate timely and actionable results to support primary care and specialty treatment decisions.
Patient-Centered Consultations
Communicate findings clearly with referring physicians to aid in clinical decision-making.
When appropriate collaborate with care teams to offer insight to patients about diagnostic results.
Collaboration Across Care Teams
Work closely with internal medicine women s health cardiology and urgent care teams.
Participate in clinical rounds case reviews and continuous care improvement initiatives.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Maintain adherence to regulatory accreditation and internal quality standards (e.g. ACR CMS and state-level compliance).
Contribute to imaging accuracy safety and workflow efficiency initiatives.
Support Technological Innovation
Utilize advanced imaging systems and support optimal performance of PACS and imaging software.
Offer input on imaging protocols upgrades and tools to drive improved outcomes and efficiency.
Education & Certification
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a specialization in Radiology.
Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (or board eligible within 1 year).
Active unrestricted medical license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain).
Preferred Training
Fellowship training in Neuro radiology Musculoskeletal Imaging Women s Imaging or Body Imaging is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical radiology experience (new grads with strong training will be considered).
Experience with cross-sectional imaging and breast imaging.
Familiarity with outpatient diagnostic workflows is beneficial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Collaborative team player with a solution-focused approach.
Proficient in PACS/RIS systems and electronic health records (EHR).
