Job Description

Join the Adelante Mujeres team and become part of an organization providing holistic services to more than 22000 Latina women and children annually in Oregon. RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Culturally Specific Qualified Mental Health Provider within Adelante Mujeres Clinica Esperanza collaborates within a diverse team to deliver comprehensive mental health services including individual group and family therapy while adhering to confidential and professional boundaries. They document and track services using Electronic Health Records (EHR) promptly to support compliance with Oregon Administration Rules (OARs) Oregon Health Administration (OHA) and Community Care Organizations (CCO) regulations and guidelines. Employing a culturally sensitive approach they navigate the complex dynamic of socio-political and cultural influences ensuring holistic care for participants. This position reports to the Assistant Clinical Director.

  • Deliver culturally specific mental health services including individual and family therapy using evidence-based interventions.
  • Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments regularly updating them to reflect changes in clinical circumstances identify and document medical necessity and collaborate with participants to establish a diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with participants to develop treatment plans and goals incorporating measurable service objectives regularly monitoring progress and adjusting service plans as needed.
  • Complete all the necessary and electronic documentation on time in agreement with the supervisor the clinics regulations and in accordance with professional clinical standards.
  • Seek and provide community referrals for services when necessary and cultivate professional productive relationships with staff participants families and external agencies prioritizing clear and open communication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate degree in psychology social work or behavioral science field.
  • Must meet state guidelines for QMHP
  • Must have or be able to obtain pre-licensed status such as Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) OR professional counselor associate OR marriage and family therapist associate OR be licensed in the state of Oregon and have active status within their licensing board.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English (fluency to read write and speak)

Preferred:

  • Ability to provide services and support within their scope of practice to individuals engaged in an approved behavioral health service program.
  • Experience working with low-income or immigrant & BIPOC communities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Complete and successfully pass criminal background checks conducted
  • Reliable transportation to arrive to different worksites
  • Ability to travel out of town to attend workshops or trainings

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • Salary range: $64K-$67K depending on qualifications.
  • Classification: Full-time salary position
  • Telework: up to 1 day a week depending on organizational service needs.
