Job Description
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa is seeking a Production Cook to join our Banquets culinary team. This role ensures the quality production of food adherence to recipes portion control standards and the presentation of all food items.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food for the assigned venue according to established standards.
- Adhere to standards for preparation portioning cooking and presentation of all menu items.
- Ensure excellent quality of food and proper presentation.
- Maintain proper portion control adherence to recipes and timeliness of all food products.
- Prepare daily quantities of required foods as per the Chefs instructions.
- Store and maintain all products properly in coolers holding cabinets and other areas to prevent waste and spoilage.
- Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations equipment and tools.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain portion control standards.
- Attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Food handlers certification by the appropriate regulatory agency.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
