The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level Business Operations Specialist to support the Business Operations Rate Readiness team in Everett WA.
BCA Supply Chain Business Operations is a fast paced dynamic organization that provides a larger look at the total BCA business as we support all commercial airplanes programs.
The main responsibilities will be working with Supply Chain procurement category management and executives to status rate readiness activities and execute production rate studies supporting all BCA airplane programs. Process improvement and special assignment opportunities will also be available.
A strong candidate will have knowledge in our BCA production systems and processes excellent written and verbal communication analytical skills the ability to work in a face paced environment resilience and to work with executive leadership. Supply Chain knowledge is preferable but not required.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists in the development and integration of programs plans strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work proposal and implementation deployment analysis and impact mitigation.
Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case.
Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to meet project landmarks.
Identifies risk and opportunity potential develops mitigation planning and refines the project plans.
Meets with leadership to provide awareness or gain approval.
Provides implementation direction for work movement authorization.
Collects organizes and provides data according to established processes and priorities within the management system to maintain the status of programs customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
Ensures follow-up action for issue resolution.
Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience performing in a support organization such as but not limited to Business Operations Finance Industrial Engineering Change Management Strategy Project Management or Supply Chain role
3 years of experience collecting interpreting data and managing high-level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership
3 years of experience in cross-functional and collaborative problem solving building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
3 years of experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive-level management
3 years of experience developing and executing operating rhythms integrated program schedules project plans and/or metrics
3 years of experience in a role that required organizational skills with the capability to prioritize facilitate and coordinate multiple projects
Ability to travel up to 10% of work time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
PMP Certified or experience with Boeings Program Management Best Practices or equivalent program/project management processes
