The Franklin Public Schools a Prek-12 district is seeking a skilled and experienced special education support professional to work as an educational assistant in the library at Lincoln St K-5 complex to support the effective operation of the school library/ media Duties and Responsibilities:Facilitates student understanding of 21st Century literacy skillsCollaborates with teachers to assist with research projects done in the libraryAssists in maintaining order in the libraryOversees the circulation of library materials and maintains statistics related to circulation and library usage Prepares orders for new materials and equipmentCompletes basic book repairsProcesses new material shelves books catalogs materialsMaintains accurate inventory levelsAssists staff members with book fair preparation and hosting the event at the request of the building principalProvides supervision of students in the libraryPerforms other related duties as assigned by the School Principal Qualifications:Associate degree or higher or ParaPro Certification preferredAble to take initiative and work independently
