Description

Position Objective: The Contractor shall provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the NIH ORS Division of Safety (NIH ORS DS) as a System Analyst. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of scientific support services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform work related to System Implementation and Configuration:
    • Oversee the implementation of Cority software within the organization.
    • Configure Cority modules to meet the specific needs of the health system.
    • Customize workflows forms and reports based on user requirements.
  • Provide User Support and Training:
    • Provide technical support to users of the Cority system.
    • Conduct training sessions for staff on how to use Cority effectively.
    • Develop user manuals and documentation for reference.
  • Deliver System Maintenance and Updates:
    • Monitor the performance of the Cority system and ensure its optimal operation.
    • Perform regular system maintenance including updates and patches.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the system.
  • Perform Data Management tasks:
    • Ensure the integrity and security of data within the Cority system.
    • Develop and maintain data standards and protocols.
    • Manage data imports exports and migrations as needed.
  • Make recommendations for Process Improvement:
    • Analyze current workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline operations and enhance system efficiency.
    • Implement best practices for health system management within Cority.
  • Ensure Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure the Cority system complies with relevant health regulations and standards.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.
    • Audit system usage and data to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform Project Management tasks:
    • Lead projects related to the deployment and enhancement of the Cority system.
    • Develop project plans timelines and budgets.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Mange Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with healthcare providers administrative staff and IT teams to understand their needs and requirements.
    • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Gather feedback to continuously improve the Cority systems functionality and user experience.
  • Perform Integration and Interoperability tasks:
    • Integrate Cority with other health information systems and software used by the organization.
    • Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability between Cority and other systems.
  • Provide Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations changes and procedures.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on system performance usage and improvements.
  • Independently analyze information and data to formulate conclusions and make recommendations for action.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education:
    • 4 years experience with a PhD;
    • 6 years experience with an MA/MS degree;
    • 10 years experience with related Associates Degree or
    • 12 years related experience with no degree.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in configuring and using Cority or similar HSE management software.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system integration.
  • Technical proficiency in database management SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risk identify improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate meaningful reports and insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training support and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to translate technical information into understandable terms for non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to provide high-quality technical support to users and resolve their issues promptly.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations particularly those related to laboratory environments.
  • Understanding of support for and adherence to ORSs policies philosophy and procedures.
  • Adherence to the highest ethical standards working with sensitive information with absolute discretion.
  • The ability to obtain a security clearance at the Non-Sensitive (Tier 1) level including Suitability Determination and National Check and Inquiry Investigation with fingerprinting.
