Job Description

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Stationary Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project engineering.
  • At least 5 years of focused experience in mining petrochemical construction or high-tech capital projects.

  • Proficiency in project control tools such as Primavera MS Project and MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

This position will be based on site in Greenville SC.

Job Summary
The Lead Stationary Equipment Engineer will oversee all engineering activities related to stationary equipment for Aluminum Industry projects. As part of the Owners Team this role is responsible for managing the full project lifecyclefrom Basic Engineering FEED and Detailed Engineering through EPCM execution. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise leadership and a strong focus on safety quality and performance in a multicultural environment.

This position will be based on site in Greenville SC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of project scope for stationary equipment systems.
  • Plan and schedule engineering activities in alignment with project milestones.
  • Collect and analyze technical data to support design and execution.
  • Identify and assess hazards; implement mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate engineering solutions and ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to specifications and timelines.
  • Support construction and execution phases with technical oversight.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on project status and performance.
