Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of production parts a plus.
- Good attendance record.
- Safe work record.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as work independently; self-directed and motivated.
- Experience and ability to operate a sit-down forklift/tow motor.
- Ability to read and interpret prints.
- Basic PC skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties as assigned.
- Deliver parts to the line(s) promptly so the production line(s) have the parts that they need.
- Interpret prints to determine parts needs.
- Maintain inventory of all parts
- Return all non-conformance or bad parts to be scrapped or reworked; track part number quantity and reasons for scrapped material.
- Cycle count of parts to be completed when necessary.
- Keep parts staging area(s) clean and orderly by sweeping and taking out trash as needed.
- Maintain the parts buffer and know where the line is with the part quantities.
- Any additional function within your department as directed by the supervisor.
