Job Description

Local 5 has an immediate opening for a part-time Photographer/Editor on its award winning staff. We are looking for a self-motivated creative storyteller with strong editing skills. WFRV shoots using Sony PXWX400 and edit on Adobe-Premier Pro.

Applicants should have at least 1 year experience. Applicant must have a current valid drivers license. This position requires the ability to carry up to 40 pounds a good driving record and knowledge of libel laws.

Education Requirements: College degree or Associated degree in Journalism Communications or technical or trade school training in TV news photography preferred or equivalent work experience. Computer literacy a plus.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Must be able to carry heavy equipment. Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.

Other Information: Work schedule will include early mornings and weekends as well as oncall status as determined by management. All applications should include a resume salary history references and link to your work.
