Join our team as a Supplier Quality Assurance Leader!
Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers at the Garrett plant in Bucharest that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements regulatory agencies government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System product acceptance and product quality.
What Youll do:
- Coordinates the activities of: quality assurance at suppliers; qualitative reception of supplied parts intended for the production of components and turbos; qualitative reception of the services provided by subcontractors on the supplied components;
- Develops the system for improving supervising and reporting the quality of suppliers;
- Coordinates and ensures the periodic information of the suppliers regarding the monitoring of the quality of the delivered products (CIV);
- Coordinates the actions taken in case of non-conformities due to suppliers discovered at the reception in the process or at the client; monitors the degree of implementation of the corrective actions generated by the suppliers quality incidents;
- Carry out the studies regarding the purchase of machines and equipment for inspection;
- Coordinates and supervises the activities of developing implementing and evaluating documentation specific to inspection activities at the reception and internal production lines as well as the services provided by subcontractors;
- Participate in internal third-party corporate second-party audits (clients certification)
What you need:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field;
- Previous experience as Quality Leader
- Experience in Automotive Industry is considered an advantage
- Ability to partner with others on projects;
- Understanding of quality processes;
- Cost improvement analysis;
- Drive technical solutions;
- Auditor of process;
- Regulatory reviews
- Good Level of English language
