Centre Coordinator

Permanent Full-Time Position available

Located in Claremont

ABOUT THE CENTRE

Ngala Early Learning Claremont is a spacious growing childcare centre just a 5-minute walk from Showgrounds Train Station. We offer large indoor and outdoor play areas a dedicated art room and excellent child-to-educator ratios. Our focus is on providing fun stimulating and joyful learning activities for children.

We operate Monday to Friday 6:30am to 6pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Coordinator you will lead your service to meet and exceed the National Quality Standards holding robust knowledge of Australian Early Education and Care Law and Regulations. You will be abreast contemporary approaches coaching your team to deliver safe and high-quality education and care to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Your professional practice and engagement will align to Ngalas core values of human connection integrity fairness and creativity. As the Coordinator you will establish and maintain respectful and reciprocal relationships with children families community and the broader Ngala network.

You will role model excellent leadership and activate a strengths-based approach to build and develop your team to deliver outstanding performance. Working with your team and the internal Ngala support services you will adapt strong business acumen to ensure that your service delivers on attendance labour management and contribution.

Just as important youll become part of a close-knit team who support each other learn from each other and love coming to work.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are passionate about childrens learning and development. You will have:

Minimum of 5 years experience in childrens services

Bachelor of Social Science (Children and Family Studies) or equivalent / Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent / Diploma of Childrens Services or equivalent

Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old

Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) the National Quality Standard (NQS) Quality Improvement Plan processes and The United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self-learning to achieve the best outcomes for children

High level of verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.

The successful candidate will need to hold a current WA drivers licence and satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months and possess a working with childrens check.

As part of our commitment to being a Child Safe organisation successful candidates are required to provide their Immunisation History Statement.

While immunisations are highly encouraged they are not mandatory. This information will help us assess and implement appropriate safety measures for everyone.
