Job Description
The Volunteer Specialist coordinates guides and facilitates the entire application process for volunteer candidates at PIH Health. Once a volunteer is accepted into the program the Volunteer Specialist is responsible for proper orientation and training. The Volunteer Specialist will collaborate with other departments personnel to coordinate placement and training of a volunteer and ensure all paperwork is returned and documented in a timely manner.

Required Skills

- Extensive knowledge of MS office and various software applications.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in complex environments.
- Ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with a high attention to detail.
- Interviewing experience.
- Exhibit sound and accurate judgement and respond well under pressure.
