Financial Reporting Manager | Finance

This person will be responsible for strategy operational and policy recommendations related to thefinancial reportingfunction for Red Ventures. This includes internal and externalfinancial reportingas well astechnical accountingresearch and candidates will possess a fun positive energetic attitude and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. This position will have an immediate impact on Red Ventures and daily exposure to our executive leadership team.

What Youll Do:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review quarterly and annualfinancial reportingpackage similar to 10-Ks for distribution to internal and external stakeholders according to key deadlines
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheetincome statementand statement of cash flows
• Act as liaison to the external auditors including planning and monitoring interim and year-end audit fieldwork and coordination with business partners
• Partner with theInvestor Relationsteam and senior stakeholders in the preparation of materials for the quarterly lender call and address investor queries related to financial reports
• Act as a change agent to streamline improve and further automate the reporting processes to provide a new perspective on existing processes.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations as needed

Technical Accounting:

• Proactively identify research consult and draft technical memorandums onaccountingissues and disclosures including newaccountingand reporting standards
• Educate and partner with cross-functional business leaders to ensure understanding and application of varioustechnical accountingmatters compliance with controls and newaccounting standards

Accounting Policy:

• Participate in the ongoing development and establishment ofaccountingpolicies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes
• Develop implement and maintainaccountingbest practices processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timelyfinancial reporting
• Responsible for thegeneral ledgerand chart of accounts. Review account roll-ups and classification to ensure compliance withGAAPand internal reporting requirements

Financial Analysis:

• Perform and review analytical procedures to assist in monthly validations and work withaccountingteams to ensure data accuracy

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and mentor staff providing guidance and support to ensure team performance and development including detailed review of work products for identification of improvement opportunities and coaching of all staff levels
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strategically establish staffing requirements with senior management support recruitment interview on-board and train new employees

• AccountingExpertise:Strong understanding ofaccounting principles practices and regulations
• GAAPKnowledge:Strong understanding ofGAAPstandards and regulations
• Leadership and Management:Ability to lead and motivate a team delegate tasks and provide a desire to build institutional knowledge and steep themselves in the companys values to drive culture
• Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze financial data identify trends and provide insights with strong attention to detail
• Communication & Organization Skills:Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced cross-functionally and maintain working relationships within the finance &accountingorganization including controllership FP&A generalaccounting andtreasury
• Problem-solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolveaccountingissues
• Software Proficiency:Proficiency in Workday Workiva Blackline and other relevant tools
