Job Description
Overview
An innovative machine manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of precision machinery. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working with SolidWorks or Inventor interpreting technical drawings and optimizing mechanical systems for manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor)
Create and interpret technical drawings including use of GD&T for tight tolerances
Maintain and update engineering documentation including BOMs and assembly guides
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements
Apply troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on the floor
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
Proficiency with SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor
Understanding of mechanical drawings blueprints and GD&T standards
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
Experience with machinery or manufacturing environments is a plus
