Human Capital Intern
Salary: Thisis an unpaid/volunteer internship however class credit is availabledepending on your schools guidelines.

Reports To:Acero Schools Talent Acquisition Lead

Start Date: Startand end dates are negotiable. This position will not exceed 17 weeks ofwork.
Hours: Approximately8-15 hours per week preferably two to three times per week in the hours negotiable depending on class schedules.
Position Overview
This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience variousaspects of a human capital department particularly talent acquisition whileworking for a nonprofit organization. The internship can be designed to focuson one category or multiple depending on the skills and interests of thecandidate and organizational needs. Aspart of our team you will learn how to identify talent pipeline partnershipopportunities how to plan events how to build relationships across theorganization to develop content for internal and external communications andhow to create compelling content that aligns with business goals and will beshared by influencers. Interns will acquire valuable resume-buildingexperience put into practice the skills learned in class use their creativityto develop persuasive communication materials and earn internship credits.
Core Responsibilities
Sourcing
Assist in identifying talentpipeline partnership opportunities
Assist in specific high-needssearches
Perform research and market analysisactivities contribute ideas on new trends online outlets and/or apps that canimprove the reach of messages
Event Planning
Assist in planning network-hostedcareer fair(s) (virtual and/or in-person)
Assist in event materialspreparation
Content Creation
Assist with writing staff profiles
Assist in drafting recruitmentoutreach copy
Assistwith drafting editing and proofreading documents maintaining spreadsheetsresearching gathering and analyzing data for reporting purposes
Assist in other human capital projects and tasks as needed

Nature of work requires anability to operate standard business office to communicate and exchange information collect compile and preparework documents set-up and maintain work demandsrequire the ability to stand bend reach high and low stoop and walk aroundup to 60% of the addition walking up and down stairsseveral times a be able to lift 15 to 20 pounds for shortperiods of time and push and pull 15 to 20 lbs.
WorkingConditions
Majority of work performedin a general office requires availability forextended hours plus non-traditional hours required to perform requires participation and attendance atorganization-sponsored events and meetings.
