  • Job Title: Hotel Self-Parking Support Specialist
  • Department: Commercial Parking Operations
  • Reports directly to: Vice President of Hotel Self Parking
  • Schedule: Full Time
  • Status: Exempt
  • Compensation: $60000 - $65000 per year

Position Summary:
The Hotel Self-Parking Support Specialist provides essential operational and administrative support to PMCs Hotel Self-Parking Leaders. This role is designed to improve efficiency by managing routine tasks supporting day-to-day site operations coordinating communications and helping implement new processes. By handling these responsibilities the position enables managers to focus on strategic initiatives such as business growth client relationship development and enhancing the PMC brand.

Primary Objective:
To provide dedicated operational and administrative support to Hotel Self-Parking Managers enabling them to focus on strategic priorities such as client relationship building business growth and elevating the PMC brand. This role ensures day-to-day efficiency and continuity by streamlining tasks improving communication and supporting overall operational excellence across self-parking locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Guest Communication and Issue Resolution:

Maintain a high standard of guest and customer service by responding to all inquiriesphone calls emails or in-person interactionswithin 48 hours. Take ownership of concerns complaints and citation disputes addressing each with professionalism empathy and a solution-oriented mindset. Ensure all resolutions are handled in a timely manner align with company policies and lead to fair outcomes for all parties involved. Follow through on every interaction to ensure complete guest satisfaction and a consistently positive experience.

Project Management:
Complete all special projects assigned by the VP of Hotel Self-Parking within established timelines and with a high level of professionalism and accuracy.

Technology Support and Systems Management:
Provide training and ongoing support to operations teams on all technology platforms used within the self-parking division ensuring effective adoption and use in the field. Collaborate with IT to offer feedback and specific insights that guide the development and improvement of operational tools. Maintain and update the self-parking database with accurate up-to-date information on active locations deal terms deployed technology and space counts to ensure data integrity and support informed decision-making.


New Site Openings:
Provide comprehensive support for all new Hotel Self-Parking site openings including:
Signage layout and procurement
Rate code setup
Site audit hours and accuracy
Accounting system setup for new locations
Verification and submission of owner payment information
Maintain and manage the new site opening workflow to ensure timely smooth launches.

Additional Responsibilities:
Other tasks may be assigned as needed to support the companys overall operational and financial objectives with the expectation that the management remains flexible and responsive to evolving business needs. Attend required staff meetings and complete assigned training modules in a timely manner.

Month-End Close Support:
Partner with the accounting department to support timely and accurate month-end closeouts reconciling relevant data and ensuring compliance with financial timelines.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with corporate departments including IT HR Accounting and Marketing as needed to fulfill operational goals and project requirements.


Strategic Insights:
Contribute ideas feedback and insights to special projects or initiatives helping to inform strategic decisions for the Hotel Self-Parking division.


Adaptability and Flexibility:
The candidate needs to be adaptable to changing environments and flexible in managing various demands especially in a role that involves frequent travel and the capacity to handle unexpected challenges in project management and revenue operations.

Education/Experience:
Preferred education of an associate degree or higher in Business Administration Operations Management Hospitality Management or a related field. A minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED combined with substantial and relevant professional experience will also be considered. At least five (5) years of experience in customer service hospitality or operations-related role is preferred. Prior exposure to parking facilities property management or service-based industries is a plus.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets use formulas and functions and analyze data effectively. Experience with pivot tables charts VLOOKUP conditional formatting and data validation is highly preferred. The ideal candidate can organize interpret and present data clearly to support decision-making and operational efficiency.


Certificates and Licenses:
A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required for this role along with maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within a three-year period. Candidates must also pass and maintain a clean background check. No special certifications are necessary for this position.


Work Environment:
The work environment for this role includes both indoor and outdoor settings requiring collaboration with teams vendors and clients on-site and in corporate environments. Associates may frequently use computers communicate via phone and perform duties in or around parking facilities. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditionsincluding extreme heat cold humidity and wet environmentsis expected. The location can be noisy with moving vehicles operated by the public.


Physical Demands:
Requirements may include extended periods of standing walking and the ability to lift moderate weights when necessary. Specific vision abilitiesclose distance peripheral depth perception and focus adjustmentsmay be required to ensure on-site awareness and safety.


Cell Phone Use:
Employees may be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication including coordination with team members managers and clients as well as accessing work applications. Reimbursement for work-related phone usage will follow company policy.

Employee at Will:
Employment with PMC is on an at-will basis meaning either the employee or the employer may end the employment relationship at any time for any reason with or without cause or notice in accordance with applicable laws. A 120-day introductory period applies.


Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA):
This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) meaning employees in this role are not eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek at a rate of one and one-half times their regular hourly rate. PMC adheres to all applicable federal state and local wage and overtime laws ensuring that compensation complies with these legal standards. All hourly rates will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements for your specific work location.
