Position Overview
Join a team supporting NASAs Space Launch System (SLS) program specifically the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion System (ICPS) and Artemis II and III missions. This role provides on-console systems engineering support during simulations testing events and mission operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in and complete training required to support on-console operations during:
- Simulations
- Integrated Test and Check Out (ITCO)
- Tanking Tests
- Artemis II & III mission activities
- Provide real-time support and issue resolution during console operations.
- Interface with NASA Boeing and other key mission stakeholders during critical testing and launch phases.
- Generate brief technical reports summarizing participation observations and outcomes for each supported event.

Must be eligible to obtain a government clearance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 5 years of relevant engineering experience (ideally aerospace systems integration or launch ops)
- Familiarity with large-scale testing or simulation environments
- Ability to work in a high-stakes fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting NASA Boeing or DoD missions
- Background in propulsion systems cryogenics or launch vehicle testing
Additional Info
- This position is estimated at 20 hours per week.
- Travel requirement to JSC/KSC occasionally to support simulations and launch
