Education and Experience Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prefer formal Security training through accredited agency. Must have minimum of 3 years experience in Security operations. Must demonstrate ability to de-escalate and assess threats. Able to critically think in stressful situations. Able to communicate in a positive and productive manner.
Schedule: Evening Shifts 4pm - 12:30 am or similar timeframe.
Location: Must be able to work in Bentonville and Springdale facility as needed.
Specific Duties
- Monitor security systems and provide a physical presence.
- Regularly patrol buildings exterior perimeters and grounds examining doors windows and all entry points to mitigate any threats or unwanted breaches and prevent loss of physical assets.
- Respond to acute behavioral events and assist with de-escalation to support the person or clinical team.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any reported security concerns and engage authorities when needed.
- Offer wayfinding assistance and parking lot escorting for patients visitors and staff.
- Assist with up front loading and unloading of patients families and visitors as needed.
- Document and reporting of incidents using appropriate forms and processes.
- Quickly respond to reports of threats and timely follow through.
- Exercise sound judgement and critical thinking while responding to security concerns and when interacting with patients visitors and staff.
- Be flexible organized and work effectively under stress.
- Demonstrates compassion empathy and patience when interacting with patients families co-workers and members of the public.
- Represents Circle of Life to the community in a positive manner.
- Demonstrates flexibility versatility and a positive attitude in integrating additional duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
