Job Description
Classification:Full-time Exempt Employment
Summary of Position:
The Pozez Jewish Community Center seeks a dynamic flexible teacher to join our educational team for
our year-round full-day early childhood center for infants through Pre-K at the Pozez JCCs Early Childhood Learning Center. The ECLC is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and our staff co-teach in a professional collaborative Jewish environment.
Qualifications:
All applicants must have experience working with young children
Must be organized and have excellent writing skills
Must have a good understanding of digital and media languages
Must have experience working with young children in an early childhood setting
Essential Position Duties:
Have an understanding of individual schedules/needs for infant caregiving routines
Team Player
Nurturing and present with the children throughout the day
Understanding or willing to learn infant/toddler development as well as the RIE philosophy in
regard to caring for infants in a Reggio Emilia inspired setting
Allows infants to be active participants in daily caregiving routines
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:45am-5:15pm (depending on shift-8 hour work day); hours outside of the regular work
day may be applicable for some tasks of this position
Compensation and Benefits:
