SUMMARY: The Flock Services Technician is responsible for keeping flocks up-to-date on sample testing and other testing for the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) requirements and state guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop a schedule for flock testing ensuring the schedule is followed and in compliance with NPIP and state guidelines.
  • Perform sampling on flocks ensuring to adhere to requirements and guidelines.
  • Transfer samples to the appropriate containers.
  • Deliver prepared sample to lab.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Required
    • High school diploma
    • State issued Drivers License with clean driving record
