POSITION SUMMARY

The DMS Application Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing the organizations document management software applications to ensure efficient business operations and user satisfaction. This position focuses on operational support application customization and data integration collaborating closely with stakeholders to enhance application performance and align solutions with business needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills technical expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides day-to-day support for core business applications concentrating on solutions where unstructured work product is created stored shared both inside and outside the firm ensuring operational continuity and quick resolution of user issues.
  2. Manages vendor relationships ensuring timely support and accountability for application performance.
  3. Documents and track issues troubleshooting processes and resolutions to maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
  4. Configures customizes and optimizes applications to meet user requirements and enhance functionality.
  5. Ensures seamless integration of applications with other systems supporting workflows across departments.
  6. Collaborates with stakeholders and peers to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement system enhancements.
  7. Ensures data consistency accuracy and quality across interconnected systems.
  8. Supports data integration efforts to enable efficient reporting and analysis across the organization.
  9. Collaborates with internal IT and business customers to develop and maintain reporting dashboards and data visualizations to support decision-making.
  10. Assists in planning designing and implementing new applications and upgrades to existing systems.
  11. Conducts research into software products and services evaluating their potential to meet organizational needs.
  12. Supports testing efforts to ensure smooth deployment of software updates and new applications.
  13. Communicates effectively with stakeholders providing updates on application performance issues and resolutions.

KEY COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field; or 5 years of equivalent work experience. Experience supporting configuring tuning a DMS application (ideally iManage). Familiarity with the rest of the DMS suite of products as well. Experience with other enterprise legal technology solutions (specifically Citrix Sharefile HighQ SharePoint or similar platforms) is highly desirable.
