Remote Service Engineer
In this role you have the opportunity to serve the customers of Philips by Proactively monitoring the Philips PACS install base. You are a part of EI-RI-SSD Operations team.
Your role:
- Bring support services thinking and mind-set into all aspects of problem escalations
- Build partnership with end customer (wherever applicable)
- Good understanding on Information technology components
- Analyzing & troubleshooting various hardware components (compute/storage/Network) and Application issues quickly and effectively that can be administered remotely.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting Operating Systems issues quickly and effectively
- Willingness to work in shifts and 24/7 models.
- Be aware of the latest technical & organizational developments and their relevance to the business.
Shifts: Rotational (including nights and weekends)
You are fit if:
- 2 years experience in remote service Engineering role
- Have a keen interest in monitoring and alert management
- Can perform basic troubleshooting and triaging
- Are comfortable working in a 24/7 rotational shift model
- Have good communication skills Quick learner/go getter.
- (Optional but preferred) Exposure to healthcare IT/PACS environments
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This role is an office-based role.
