You will be a key member of the Post Market Development - Compliance PMO within the Surgical Operating Unit focused specifically on managing a variety of Change Development Process (CDP) projects resulting from compliance maintenance efforts across the Surgical product portfolio. This role will ensure we deliver excellence to the patients impacted by our portfolio every year.

In this role you will:

  • Manage Projects: Oversee projects through the Change Development Process to implement critical compliance needs across the Surgical product portfolio. The nature of changes will be dynamic and variable but typically encompass Labeling IFU and eIFU updates to support needs of the global market and regulations.

  • Shape Processes: Help develop scalable processes for Compliance PMO to enable timely and efficient execution.

  • Drive Lifecycle Success: Ensure product safety efficacy cost-effectiveness and market readiness throughout the product lifecycle.

You will

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate develop and manage lifecycle projects for products and processes

  • Manage the operational aspects of projects including planning scheduling and status reporting

  • Monitor project progress identifying risks and implementing solutions to meet business goals

  • Manage project financials including forecasting and tracking of accruals and actuals

  • Manage stakeholder communications and ensuring alignment to project/program objectives

  • Develop or co-develop processes and tools to track project progress and ensure compliance within assigned areas.

  • Gather plan and manage requirements to ensure they meet demands of the projects key stakeholders.

  • Communicate with stakeholders and obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes address business needs effectively.


Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional matrixed organization.

  • 2 years leading projects of increasing complexity and multiple projects simultaneously

  • 2 years of experience with budget management or financial tracking within projects

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge in product development and commercialization in the medical device industry

  • PMP or PgMP certification

  • 2 years leading stakeholder communications across various peer and leadership levels of an organization

  • Experience with advanced scheduling and resource management tools like Microsoft Project and/or Resource First/PDWare

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$112000.00 - $168000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
